Business Controller – Regional Finance Lead

About the role

APRIL International Enterprise is looking for a Business Controller to lead financial operations across multiple countries. The role partners closely with business and supply‑chain leaders, providing insight, control and strategic support to drive commercial growth.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary finance partner to regional business heads, aligning financial plans with strategic and operational goals.
• Develop and maintain financial models, commercial evaluations and cost‑benefit analyses to support decision‑making.
• Lead capital‑expenditure assessments, investment reviews and cost‑optimization initiatives.
• Prepare accurate monthly reports, variance analysis and consolidate budgets and rolling forecasts for several countries.
• Monitor regional KPIs, credit risk, inventory and working‑capital metrics.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, local regulations and support audit and tax processes.
• Collaborate with supply‑chain, operations, tax, treasury and legal teams on cross‑border issues.
• Identify and implement process improvements to standardise reporting and finance practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent; Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of finance and controlling experience, with regional exposure in manufacturing or industrial sectors.
• Experience managing businesses with annual turnover exceeding USD 100 million.
• Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time across operating sites.
