Business Development Associate

About the role

FastJobs, a non-executive job platform in Singapore and Malaysia, is looking for a Business Development Associate to help grow its business in Singapore. The role suits fresh graduates starting a career in tech sales or junior professionals with 1-2 years of experience, and offers a hybrid work arrangement and a direct line to the Director of Sales.

Key responsibilities

• Learn the full B2B sales cycle through training, from finding potential clients to closing deals.
• Build a sales pipeline by reaching out to prospective employers via cold calls, emails, LinkedIn and field visits.
• Run discovery chats and platform walkthroughs for local employers, showing how FastJobs solves their hiring needs.
• Help new employers set up their accounts and post their first jobs, then hand them off to the Client Success team.
• Keep the CRM updated with daily activities and sales progress.
• Represent the brand at local HR events and trade shows and share feedback with product and marketing teams.

Required profile

• Fresh graduate or 1-2 years of experience in sales, customer-facing roles or retail/hospitality (prior experience is a bonus).
• Comfortable talking to business owners and hiring managers and pitching ideas.
• Eager to learn lead sourcing and cold outreach, and able to handle rejection.
• Thrives in fast-paced environments and adapts quickly.
• An interest in HRTech, recruitment or SaaS is a plus; part-time experience in F&B, retail, logistics or hospitality is also a plus.

Required skills

• Willingness to learn sales tools such as CRMs (HubSpot, Salesforce)
• CRM data entry and maintenance
