Business Development Director – Building & Infrastructure

About the role

The Business Development Director will lead the growth of Building & Infrastructure services in Singapore, focusing on construction supervision, accredited checking and technical due diligence for major public and private clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Singapore Building & Infrastructure growth strategy, targeting key public and private clients.
• Identify and secure new opportunities with agencies such as LTA, Changi Airport Group, Sembcorp, JTC, PUB, HDB and data‑centre developers.
• Build and maintain C‑level relationships and create long‑term account plans.
• Lead pursuit and tender processes, coordinating technical, commercial and legal inputs to deliver winning proposals.
• Monitor regulatory developments and emerging market trends in transportation, aviation, data‑centre and industrial projects.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil, Structural or Construction Engineering; Professional Engineer registration preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in engineering, construction or infrastructure consulting, with proven business‑development leadership in Singapore.
• Strong network with government agencies, developers and contractors, and experience in LTA, CAG or large industrial projects is a plus.

Required skills

• Qualified Site Supervision (QSS) and resident engineering services.
• Accredited and independent checking engineering.
• Technical due diligence, design review and structural assessment.
• Construction quality assurance / quality control and HSE supervision.
• Asset condition assessment and building‑infrastructure audits.
