Business Development Executive

About the role

The Business Development Executive will drive client acquisition and revenue growth for AJAY International Trading. You will work closely with marketing and sales teams to identify prospects, build relationships, and expand our market presence in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Become fully familiar with all company products and services.
• Identify and acquire new clients through direct outreach, referrals, and collaboration with the marketing department.
• Participate in networking events to research and connect with potential customers.
• Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients to ensure retention.
• Propose upgrades or additional products and services that meet client needs.
• Prepare business proposals and contracts to generate additional revenue.
• Negotiate pricing and terms to secure attractive deals.
• Support staff development by providing technical and social sales training.
• Collect client feedback and implement improvements.
• Monitor market trends to keep offerings relevant.

Required profile

• Degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
• Extensive sales experience.
• Strong intuition and insight into human behavior.
• Ability to generate revenue by identifying client pain points and recommending solutions.
• Professional yet friendly demeanor with a neat, well‑groomed appearance.
• Excellent networking, written and verbal communication skills.
• Resourceful with strong research capabilities and a challenge‑driven mindset.
