Business Development Manager

About the role

WhyQ is seeking a Business Development Manager to own a portfolio of corporate clients and ensure flawless delivery of office meals and events. This hybrid position combines end‑to‑end account management with merchant onboarding, acting as the trusted point of contact for both clients and F&B partners.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate, well‑presented quotations tailored to client requirements, including headcount, dietary needs, budget, and logistics.
• Source, pitch, and onboard new F&B merchants to meet the unique needs of each corporate account.
• Coordinate custom menus, revisions, and lead‑times with vendors to ensure seamless execution.
• Onboard new corporate clients, set up invoice billing, credit terms, and internal purchase‑order configurations.
• Maintain and grow the portfolio through regular follow‑ups, issue resolution, and identification of upsell opportunities such as larger events or recurring pantry services.

Required profile

• Proven experience in B2B sales or account management, preferably within the food‑service or corporate catering sector.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with both corporate clients and external vendors.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple client requests simultaneously.
• Self‑motivated, reliable, and capable of delivering results quickly.
