Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager will lead student enrollment growth for both French and English streams of an international school. Reporting to the Director, you will own the full admissions pipeline, from lead generation to onboarding, and build strategic partnerships that support the school’s expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute an annual enrolment plan with targets for September intake and mid‑year admissions across both streams.
• Manage the end‑to‑end admissions journey, ensuring a seamless experience for prospective families.
• Identify and cultivate recruitment channels such as expatriate families, AEFE network schools, corporate relocations, embassies, relocation agencies and multinational companies.
• Monitor enrolment performance using AI and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), track lead sources, conversion rates and drop‑offs, and implement corrective actions.
• Analyse retention and attrition trends and work with academic teams to improve re‑enrolment.
• Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with relocation agencies, recruitment consultants, embassies, multinational firms and education networks.
• Represent the school at education fairs, expat events and corporate presentations, promoting both language streams.
• Lead the Corporate Membership Programme (CMP) to support employee families seeking bilingual education.

Required profile

• Strong commercial mindset with proven business development or student recruitment experience.
• Passion for international education and bilingual (French/English) communication.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with Marketing, Admissions and Academic Leadership.
• Data‑driven approach to pipeline health and conversion outcomes.

Required skills

• Salesforce (CRM) proficiency.
