Business Development Manager

About the role

Daddy’s Mart Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth across its retail network in Singapore. The role focuses on expanding sales, strengthening supplier and customer relationships, and identifying new market opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to increase retail sales and overall business performance.
• Identify new business opportunities, customer segments and sales channels.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, customers and partners.
• Plan and run sales promotions, product campaigns and customer engagement activities.
• Monitor product performance, customer demand and market trends to optimise sales.
• Coordinate pricing, product selection, stock movement and promotional support with suppliers.
• Support expansion initiatives, including delivery‑related sales growth and new revenue streams.
• Review sales performance and recommend actions to improve revenue and operational efficiency.
• Ensure high standards of customer service aligned with store objectives.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree, or equivalent experience in sales, retail operations or business development.
• Experience in retail, FMCG, grocery or convenience‑store environments preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage supplier coordination, customer relationships and sales planning independently.
• Self‑motivated, responsible and capable of working autonomously.
