Business Development Manager

About the role

SHOPLINE is a global omnichannel e‑commerce SaaS platform that supports hundreds of thousands of merchants worldwide. The Business Development Manager will develop sales plans, strengthen customer relationships, and ensure market objectives are met while achieving revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop sales plans and strengthen customer relationships to meet market objectives.
• Achieve or exceed revenue targets.
• Schedule regular agent and customer visits.
• Identify new customers, assess their needs and present sales solutions.
• Maintain contact with existing customers to generate repeat business.
• Create sales presentations and materials consistent across business units.
• Provide competitor information to management.
• Collect prioritized product/service requirements and communicate them to the Product team.
• Support supplier sourcing, including local supplier negotiation and daily management.
• Handle account management responsibilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of comprehensive technical, direct sales and marketing experience.
• Logistics sector experience is a plus.
• Consultative selling experience.
• Outstanding presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to make complex decisions and customer commitments in real time.
• Ability to promote the company’s technology to potential clients.
• Ability to develop and close opportunities.
• Strong team player with experience working at all organizational levels.
