Business Development Manager - Meetings & Events

About the role

As a Business Development Manager for Meetings & Events based in Singapore, you will be the driving force behind acquiring new MICE business and expanding the client base across the region. You will represent FCM, meet key decision‑makers, deliver compelling pitches and turn opportunities into wins.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals consistently.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans to win new MICE business and grow existing portfolios.
• Prospect new clients through cold‑calling, networking and creative outreach methods.
• Deliver sales presentations using a challenger‑sales methodology.
• Maintain a robust pipeline, forecast revenue and manage a portfolio of corporate and MICE accounts.
• Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure value‑added solutions while meeting revenue targets.
• Lead account reviews with large customers and ensure seamless hand‑overs to account management.

Required profile

• 4–8 years of experience in MICE sales and client management (TMC experience preferred).
• Proven track record of exceeding targets and executing winning sales strategies.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with executive‑level contacts.
• Excellent presentation and influencing abilities.
• Self‑motivated, independent and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
