Business Development Manager, Payments & OTC

About the role

BIT is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead its Payments & OTC initiatives. You will own the full BD lifecycle, building and managing partnerships with liquidity providers, payment service providers, banks, and channel partners while helping clients navigate fiat on/off‑ramp, OTC settlement, and cross‑border payment flows.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage partnerships with LPs, PSPs, banks, acquirers, channel partners, and enterprise clients.
• Own the end‑to‑end BD process: prospecting, solution design, commercial negotiation, and go‑live.
• Deepen relationships with existing high‑net‑worth and institutional clients.
• Drive client acquisition for cross‑border payments, crypto/fiat conversion, fund settlement, and digital‑asset services.
• Understand client treasury, liquidity, and payment workflow needs and design tailored solutions with internal teams.
• Monitor OTC, stablecoin, and FinTech market trends and provide strategic insights.
• Represent BIT at industry conferences and client events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• 3+ years of business development, partnership management, or institutional client coverage.
• 1–2 years of experience in payments (PSP, acquirer, payment gateway, cross‑border platform, or FinTech).
• Proven ownership of the full BD cycle from lead generation to after‑sales.
• Existing network of channel partners, PSPs, banks, or institutional clients.
• Solid understanding of payment flows, crypto/fiat conversion, fund settlement, and cross‑border collections.
• Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English.
