Business Development Manager (Singapore)

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth and expansion for our client in Singapore. The role involves identifying new market opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and supporting the launch of new products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with growth objectives.
• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, markets, and commercial projects.
• Conduct market research, industry analysis, and competitive assessments to inform decision‑making.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
• Lead negotiations and prepare commercial proposals for prospective partners.
• Collaborate with internal teams to design solutions that meet client and partner needs.
• Support planning and implementation of new products, services, and initiatives based on market demand.
• Monitor industry trends and provide strategic recommendations to management.
• Coordinate cross‑functional projects and ensure effective communication among all parties.
• Prepare business proposals, presentations, and reports for internal and external audiences.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Management, Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, investment, product management, strategic planning, consulting or related functions.
• Proven experience in market research, business analysis, commercial project management and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify and evaluate new opportunities.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, negotiation and project management capabilities.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience in technology, digital solutions, investment or other innovation‑driven industries is a plus.
