Business Development Manager – Singapore

About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive growth in Singapore, delivering financial results in line with budgets and targets. The role focuses on establishing new business opportunities with A, B and C‑segment customers and ensuring successful client integration.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities with target customers in the assigned territory.
• Prepare gross profit projections and short‑ and long‑term action plans to meet targets.
• Conduct sales calls and visits, record activities in the Sales CRM, and achieve monthly opportunity targets.
• Manage the sales pipeline, maintain the CRM, and collaborate with internal account managers, Tradelane Manager and product teams to maximise closing ratios.
• Support client onboarding by coordinating with operations and help finance achieve DSO goals.
• Continuously update product knowledge through mandatory training.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience in air/sea/customs brokerage or related logistics sales.
• Degree or diploma with demonstrated leadership qualities.
• Strong self‑motivation, planning and organisational skills, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication abilities.
• Customer‑focused team player with the ability to manage cross‑functional interfaces.
