Business Development Manager – SME (SEA)

About the role

FCM is seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to lead the acquisition of SME clients across Southeast Asia. You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, and help companies simplify their travel management with our technology‑driven solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales and total transaction value (TTV) targets.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans for key SME prospects.
• Identify new business opportunities through cold‑calling, networking and creative prospecting.
• Represent FCM to decision‑makers, delivering challenger‑sales presentations and compelling proposals.
• Maintain a strong pipeline, accurately forecast revenue and ensure seamless hand‑over to account management.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Product and HR to resolve client issues.
• Utilise Salesforce CRM to track activity, analyse performance and drive improvements.

Required profile

• 5+ years of proven B2B sales success (travel industry experience a plus).
• Relationship‑builder with strong strategic networking abilities.
• Self‑motivated, confident presenter with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Commercially savvy with the ability to analyse financial data and build value‑driven business cases.
• Effective multi‑tasker thriving in a fast‑paced environment.
