Business Development Manager – SME Travel Solutions

About the role

We are looking for a driven Business Development Manager to lead the acquisition of SME clients across Southeast Asia. You will promote FCM’s travel technology platform, build relationships with decision‑makers, and own the full sales cycle from prospecting to hand‑over.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales and total transaction value (TTV) targets.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans targeting key SME prospects.
• Identify new business opportunities through cold‑calling, networking and creative prospecting.
• Present compelling sales pitches using a challenger sales methodology.
• Prepare value‑driven proposals and respond to RFPs to maximise win rates.
• Maintain a strong pipeline, accurately forecast revenue and update Salesforce CRM.
• Hand over closed deals to account management with detailed information to maximise TTV.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Product and HR teams to resolve client issues.

Required profile

• 5+ years of proven B2B sales success, preferably in the travel industry.
• Strong relationship‑building and strategic thinking abilities.
• Self‑motivated, independent and results‑oriented.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and persuasion skills.
• Commercial acumen with the ability to analyse financial data and build business cases.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
