Business Operations Analyst

About the role

This role manages supply chain processes for a regional or global business unit, maintaining current business processes and performance metrics through collaboration with regional and global planning teams. It also identifies opportunities to streamline and optimize operations and supports priority projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage supply chain processes such as inventory analysis, order fulfillment, import/export operations and shipping.
• Produce reports using IT systems, analyze data to identify supply and demand trends and share findings with management.
• Lead the analysis for backlog management.
• Gather demand data from country, region and account managers to support demand planning.
• Collaborate with planning teams to maintain and improve business processes, and communicate requirements and guidelines to them.
• Review performance metrics regularly and drive operational excellence.
• Provide training or guidance to junior staff.

Required profile

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration or a related field, or commensurate experience.
• Typically 2-4 years of experience in supply chain, operations or a related field, or an advanced degree with little or no experience.
• Preferred certifications: PMP and Certified Professional in Supply Management.
