Business Solution Design Manager

About the role

Capital Group is hiring a Business Solution Design Manager within its Business Transformation Services team. The manager works closely with Asia-Pacific, as well as Europe and North America business partners, and leads, recommends and implements business, digital, data and AI solutions to drive strategic decisions and grow the business, including the expansion of investment products for Asia.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, recommend and implement business, digital, data and AI solutions to support strategic decisions and complex challenges.
• Build and leverage functional domain and technical design expertise to design and implement strategic direction with the business and project teams, covering people, process, technology and data.
• Manage, coach and oversee the performance and development of other associates.
• Deliver new investment products and strategic business initiatives from design through implementation, aligned with business, operational and regulatory requirements.
• Assess complex challenges, define target operating models and develop scalable solutions across investment operations, technology and product teams.
• Drive continuous improvement and agility, aiming for straight-through processing and greater efficiency.

Required profile

• About 7 years or more of experience changing and transforming businesses in an asset management setting.
• Working knowledge of investment operations, including accounting, compliance and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of the financial services industry and investment products.
• Ability to identify root causes, generate creative solutions using people, process, technology, data and AI, and to anticipate future state needs.
• Curious about new technologies and AI and able to show how they can optimise the business.
