About the role

Join Applied Materials in Singapore to lead cross‑functional execution of programs, drive cost reduction, and ensure operational excellence for a division that supports semiconductor and display manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with product line or division management on cross‑functional execution of programs to meet and exceed division and financial goals.
• Coordinate product line or division portfolio prioritization and budget alignment.
• Ensure OPEX spending aligns with project plans and division spending targets.
• Responsible for business process creation and continuous improvement.
• Manage and drive division COGS reduction plans to deliver gross‑margin targets.
• Coordinate division‑level business continuity planning and crisis management.
• Drive division safety compliance, including lab safety practices.
• Ensure all ePLC operational deliverables are supported and completed.

Required profile

• Demonstrates depth and/or breadth of expertise in a specialized discipline or field.
• Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services.
• May lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and complexity.
• Leads others to solve complex problems using sophisticated analytical thought and innovative solutions.
• Impacts achievement of customer, operational, project or service objectives; work guided by functional policies.
• Communicates difficult concepts and negotiates with others to adopt a different point of view.
