Cash Processor (Cashier)

About the role

Brink's Singapore, a division of The Brink's Company, is looking for a Cash Processor to work in its branch locations. The role carries out the cash accounting work that keeps commerce moving: verifying bank deposits, preparing cash shipments and reconciling currency transactions. It is a busy, fast-paced position where safety controls and strict adherence to security procedures are required.

Key responsibilities

• Process, verify, reconcile and report inbound and outbound currency transactions, escalating discrepancies to the shift supervisor or team leader
• Complete data entry for all transactions and prepare outbound currency orders and replenishments
• Process check imaging into Nautilus, BTMS and VTM
• Identify and promptly report discrepancies to maintain financial integrity
• Follow all SOPs, security and safe working procedures, including Brink's security controls
• Complete daily checklists, clean stations at end of day, bundle trash, sort deposit slips, print check manifests and ensure deposits match
• Deliver and file imaged work and teller paperwork accurately, keeping audit trails

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and a logical, process-driven mindset
• Ability to make real-time decisions under pressure and manage time effectively
• Good verbal and written communication and customer service skills
• Team player with integrity, adaptability to a fast pace and a sense of ownership
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift 22 kg (50 lb) or more

Preferred qualifications

• Previous banking or professional finance experience
• Knowledge of operational administrative processes
• Experience operating a cash counting machine (notes and coins)
