Category Management Planner – APAC

About the role

The Category Management Planner – APAC will support the Category Manager – Liquor in translating the global liquor strategy into effective regional and country‑level execution. This hands‑on planning role strengthens execution discipline, improves category visibility and enables timely decision‑making across duty‑free and duty‑paid channels in the APAC region.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Category Manager in preparing and maintaining APAC liquor commercial plans by country and channel.
• Coordinate inputs from countries on sales plans, category opportunities, local market dynamics and implementation requirements.
• Track progress against agreed category actions, timelines and commercial priorities.
• Assist in preparing business review materials, category updates and decision packs for regional and global stakeholders.
• Support assortment extension, novelty implementation and delisting planning in line with the global liquor strategy.
• Maintain visibility of assortment performance by vendor, brand, SKU, market and channel, including sales, margin and stock indicators.
• Coordinate listing requirements, item creation, documentation, pricing input and implementation timelines with country teams.
• Support promotion planning, mechanics upload, forecasting inputs and post‑promotion performance tracking.

Required profile

• Hands‑on planning experience.
• Strong analytical and coordination abilities.
• Ability to work across multiple APAC countries and channels.
