Centre Leader – Childcare Centre Manager

About the role

New Life Childcare is seeking a dynamic Centre Leader to oversee daily operations of its early childhood centre. You will nurture a safe, healthy, and engaging environment where children develop confidence, character, and a love for learning. The role combines leadership, compliance, and partnership building with parents and the community.

Key responsibilities

• Provide mentorship and guidance to teaching and support staff.
• Foster positive teamwork and collaboration among team members.
• Lead and support staff to ensure smooth day‑to‑day centre operations.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, health, and safety regulations at all times.
• Build and maintain positive partnerships with parents and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) or Diploma in Preschool Education Leadership (DPL).
• At least 3 years of experience as a Childcare Centre Leader.
• Proven experience managing administrative and operational functions in a preschool setting.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and people‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and good command of spoken and written English.
