CES Engineer – Bulk Gas Systems Project Management

About the role

The CES Engineer will lead the design, installation, and commissioning of bulk gas systems across Singapore. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee projects related to bulk gas system design and installation.
• Verify design calculations such as pressure drop, velocity, and temperature.
• Collaborate with design, safety, and customer teams for HAZOP studies.
• Develop project plans, budgets, and timelines.
• Liaise with procurement to select materials, equipment, and contractors while optimizing cost.
• Coordinate vendors and suppliers for equipment procurement and quality control.
• Manage civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation contractors and track schedules.
• Perform risk assessments and enforce safety protocols.
• Monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure project goals are met.
• Troubleshoot technical issues during commissioning and start‑up.
• Maintain accurate documentation, datasheets, and reports.
• Work with drafters to produce AutoCAD P&ID drawings.

Required profile

• Minimum degree in engineering; chemical engineering is a plus.
• OPSOC Supervisor course, BSCC, and relevant customer‑service training.
• Hands‑on experience with rotating and static equipment and large‑scale project management.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time‑management abilities.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
