Chef de Partie

About the role

We are looking for a Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at Pullman Singapore Hill Street. The role involves preparing high‑quality dishes, supervising kitchen staff in your section and maintaining strict hygiene and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Train and supervise kitchen personnel in the assigned section.
• Produce high‑quality food, checking taste, temperature and visual appeal.
• Ensure personal cleanliness, proper deportment and adherence to hygiene procedures.
• Maintain proper storage of equipment and perishable items in a hygienic manner.
• Prevent use of contaminated products and ensure ill staff do not handle food.
• Collaborate with Stewarding to keep the kitchen clean.
• Follow all safety, health, security, loss‑control policies and relevant legislation.

Required profile

• Minimum primary school education; culinary school certification is an advantage.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
• Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English.
• Ability to work well under stressful and high‑pressure situations.
• Knowledge of food and health safety standards, including HACCP.
