About the role
We are looking for a Chief Cook to lead food preparation and cooking according to standard operating procedures, ensure smooth kitchen operations, and maintain high standards of hygiene and service.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food following SOPs.
- Allocate duties among kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor order fulfillment to meet timing and quality standards.
- Manage stock checking, inventory control, and ordering.
- Maintain hygiene and housekeeping standards throughout the kitchen.
- Store, prepare, and present food safely and hygienically.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and wholesale buyers.
Required profile
- Willingness to work night and split shifts.
- Availability for extra hours or weekends as needed.
- Commitment to uphold food safety standards.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
