Chief Information Security Officer – Singapore

About the role

BVNK, a stablecoin‑powered financial stack now part of Mastercard, is looking for a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) in Singapore. As the first dedicated security hire in the region, you will build the local security function from the ground up and own the information security strategy for BVNK’s Singapore business.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead the information security strategy and programme for Singapore.
• Establish governance, policies, standards, controls and processes for a regulated financial services business.
• Provide senior accountability for cyber security, reporting to the Singapore CEO and governance forums.
• Ensure compliance with MAS technology risk, cyber security and operational resilience requirements.
• Maintain an information security risk management framework and oversee risk identification, assessment and escalation.
• Collaborate with the Global CISO to implement global standards while addressing Singapore‑specific needs.
• Oversee core security capabilities such as security monitoring, identity and access management, vulnerability management, incident response, third‑party risk and data security.
• Lead incident preparedness, response, crisis management and regulator engagement.
• Partner with product, engineering and technology teams to embed security into new products and infrastructure.
• Manage security aspects of regulatory applications, audits and assessments, and provide clear metrics and reporting to leadership.
