Chief Operating Officer, APAC & EMEA

About the role

Davies is seeking a senior operating leader to head its Forensic Accounting practice across APAC and EMEA. Reporting to the Global CEO, the COO will drive operational performance, integration of new teams, and scalable execution to support growth and client service excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead global operating performance for the Forensic Accounting practice, establishing consistent management cadence across regions.
• Drive operating discipline around utilization, delivery efficiency, resource deployment and accountability.
• Oversee integration of acquired forensic accounting teams, lateral hires and new practice groups using repeatable frameworks and playbooks.
• Improve visibility and discipline around utilization, chargeability, margin and productivity in partnership with Finance.
• Partner with HR to build a scalable talent platform, supporting workforce planning, leadership development and retention.
• Align with the Forensic Engineering COO in the Americas to coordinate shared clients, reporting expectations and cross‑practice opportunities.
• Provide regular updates to the Forensics CEO on performance, integration progress and key risks, while modeling a leadership style that balances commercial urgency with specialist expertise.

Required profile

• Senior operating leadership experience in professional services, forensic accounting, disputes, investigations or related talent‑led services.
• Strong understanding of professional‑services economics such as utilization, chargeability, capacity planning and margin management.
• Proven ability to lead global or multi‑region operations in a complex, matrixed environment.
• Experience integrating acquisitions, lateral teams or senior expert groups into a larger platform.
• Demonstrated ability to build scalable operating models without over‑corporatizing entrepreneurial teams.
• Commercially astute, data‑driven and comfortable operating in a PE‑backed or high‑growth environment.
