Chinese Language Teacher (Primary & Secondary)

About the role

Hua Cheng Education Centre is seeking a dedicated Chinese Language Teacher to deliver engaging lessons to primary and secondary students across Singapore. The role involves both weekday evening and weekend classes, providing flexible teaching opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Teach Chinese language courses for primary and secondary levels.
• Review and assess curriculum effectiveness.
• Participate in curriculum development initiatives when required.
• Maintain accurate student attendance and academic records.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child’s progress and conduct parent seminars.
• Deliver lessons during scheduled evenings and weekends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s, Professional, or Master’s degree in Education, Teaching, Linguistics, Chinese Languages, or a related field.
• Singaporean citizen or Permanent Resident.
• 1 to 5 years of relevant teaching experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Proficiency in English is an advantage.
