About the role

Citi is hiring a Citigold Private Client (CPC) Client Advisor (Vice President) in Singapore. The role serves high-net-worth individuals with comprehensive wealth management guidance and bespoke financial solutions, building long-term relationships and working with internal specialists to deliver a holistic client experience focused on wealth preservation, growth and intergenerational transfer.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement personalized financial plans covering investment management, retirement planning, estate planning, tax optimization and risk management.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for high-net-worth clients, run regular portfolio reviews, share market insights and address client inquiries proactively.
• Pursue new business in the high-net-worth segment using existing networks and referrals.
• Partner with investment counselors, wealth planners and FX specialists to give clients complete financial solutions.
• Stay up to date on market trends and economic developments and advise clients accordingly.
• Organize and host client events.
• Ensure strict adherence to KYC/AML and other compliance norms, assess risk appropriately, follow policy and escalate control issues transparently.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in wealth management or a related field serving high-net-worth clients.
• Experience in North Asian markets (China, Hong Kong, Taiwan) with strong client-growth networks; ideally managing high-net-worth clients in those markets.
• Strong understanding of North Asian culture and practices.
• Bachelor's degree; Master's preferred.
• Mandatory certifications required for advising on and selling financial products.

Required skills

• Fluent Mandarin/Cantonese and English.
• Proven track record in business development and client relationship management.
• Deep understanding of financial markets, investment strategies and wealth planning.
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills, able to work independently and in a team.
