Civil Engineering Internship – Structural Evaluation

About the role

Bureau Veritas is looking for a motivated Civil Engineering intern to support structural evaluation and inspection activities. You will work closely with senior engineers, gaining hands‑on experience in assessing building safety and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating structural concepts and details to ensure safety and compliance with BCA and other authority requirements.
• Support senior engineers in planning and coordinating site inspections with clients or ground agencies.
• Conduct independent inspections of existing building structures, identify defects and define repair scopes.
• Prepare inspection reports in the required formats and communicate findings to senior engineers.
• Participate in site checks of repair works, ensuring they follow approved methods, specifications and instructions.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
