Clinical Program and Value Lead

About the role

Cigna Healthcare, a division of The Cigna Group, is looking for a Clinical Program and Value Lead. The role acts as the main link between market leadership and the Global Clinical Program teams, adapting clinical initiatives to regional regulatory, operational and customer requirements while supporting clinical performance, reporting and insights.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Global Clinical Programs Team to adapt clinical initiatives to regional regulatory, operational, commercial and customer requirements, and coordinate rollout and deployment in assigned markets
• Work with Regional Medical Executives to set priorities, performance objectives, success criteria and accountability frameworks, and identify barriers to adoption
• Support the market Total Cost of Care and affordability agenda with Clinical Operations, Network, Medical Economics and other enterprise teams
• Drive the market clinical performance framework, including scorecards, KPIs, MORs, outcome metrics and governance routines
• Turn clinical, operational, utilization, customer experience and financial data into actionable insights, and track progress against health and cost outcomes
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual business reviews and governance forums with performance analysis, executive-ready materials and recommendations
• Escalate issues needing leadership attention and act as the primary coordinator between markets and global program teams

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, clinical, business, economics, public health or a related discipline
• 5+ years of experience in healthcare strategy, clinical program delivery, clinical performance, population health, medical economics, value-based care, healthcare consulting or related fields
• Experience using data and analytics to drive business decisions, operational improvements and program optimization
• Strong understanding of healthcare delivery models, clinical quality measures, healthcare economics and affordability levers
• Comfortable working across multiple regions, markets, cultures and stakeholder groups
