Cloud Administrator – Microsoft Azure GCC

About the role

We are looking for a Cloud Administrator specialized in Microsoft Azure GCC to join our innovative team. You will be responsible for managing and monitoring Azure environments, ensuring security, performance, and reliability of cloud resources.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and monitor Azure resources, subscriptions, resource groups, and policies.
• Manage Azure Virtual Machines (Windows/Linux) and SQL Server hosted on Azure VMs.
• Support Azure SQL Database, perform database monitoring, backup verification, and basic troubleshooting.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Alerts.
• Maintain Azure networking components such as VNets, NSGs, route tables, VPN gateways, private endpoints, and private DNS zones.
• Manage Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), RBAC, MFA, and access controls.
• Perform vulnerability management, including security patching, OS hardening, vulnerability assessment, remediation tracking, and closure of findings.
• Support cloud security, compliance audits, and implementation of security recommendations.
• Assist with backup, recovery, patching, and operational health checks.
• Develop and maintain basic automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Troubleshoot cloud, server, networking, and database‑related issues.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and runbooks.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and cloud concepts.
• Understanding of Azure SQL Database and SQL Server administration.
• Experience with Windows Server and RHEL/Linux administration.
• Familiarity with Azure networking fundamentals.
• Ability to write simple scripts using PowerShell and Azure CLI.
• Awareness of cloud security, identity management, and access control best practices.
