Cloud Engineer - Microsoft Azure

Kyndryl runs and reimagines mission-critical technology systems for leading businesses, and is hiring a Cloud Engineer focused on Microsoft Azure in Singapore. The role involves designing, deploying and maintaining Azure environments, supporting operations and incidents, and driving cloud migration and modernization. It offers opportunities to earn certifications and build leadership experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain scalable, highly available Azure environments, subscriptions, virtual machines, networking and platform services
• Monitor system health and performance, troubleshoot root causes, manage patching and maintain backup and disaster recovery processes to meet SLAs
• Enforce Entra ID identity controls, harden security and align with Singapore Government IM8 standards and audit requirements
• Develop IaC scripts, automate workflows, maintain CI/CD pipelines and write operational runbooks
• Implement centralized logging, alerting and telemetry for end-to-end visibility
• Tune resource usage, analyse consumption patterns and recommend cost savings
• Support migration of legacy on-premises workloads to Azure and application modernization
• Maintain architecture diagrams, asset inventories and procedures, and provide governance reporting

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of ICT infrastructure experience
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on Microsoft Azure administration and engineering
• Experience supporting enterprise environments with more than 500 users
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles and operational best practices
