Collections Team Lead

About the role

As a Collections Team Lead you will supervise the daily activities of desk collectors, develop and implement collection strategies, and ensure efficient debt recovery processes within the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, coordinate and supervise the daily activities of Desk Collectors.
• Assist Desk Collectors or recommend collection techniques for difficult situations.
• Provide coaching and guidance to direct reports.
• Generate daily, weekly and monthly performance and KPI reports.
• Escalate necessary items to management.
• Process reversals when required.
• Ensure resolution of customer issues raised through the Collection Department.
• Attain set targets and performance goals.
• Adhere to Central Bank regulations and company policies.
• Perform other tasks assigned by management to meet organizational and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or a related field.
• At least one year of experience as a Collections Team Leader.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High technical proficiency with client and company collection systems and processes.
• Strong drive and determination to achieve or exceed set goals.
