College Intern – Process & Hardware Development in PVD Chambers

About the role
Under the guidance of senior engineers, you will work on complex experiments to develop and optimise physical vapor deposition (PVD) processes for new film materials such as AlN thermal interface material and SiN photonic waveguides.
Key responsibilities
- Optimise PVD processes and measure metal film properties, then organise data and reports for review.
- Perform hardware characterisation on moderately difficult systems while adhering to safety guidelines.
- Assist in troubleshooting, conduct root‑cause analysis and resolve moderately complex process engineering issues.
Required profile
- Creative problem‑solver able to think constructively and contribute to innovative product cycles.
- Eager to learn state‑of‑the‑art semiconductor technologies and engage with top foundries on real‑world challenges.
