College Intern - PVD Process & Hardware Development

About the role

Applied Materials, a global leader in materials science and engineering solutions for semiconductors and advanced displays, is offering a full-time college internship in Singapore. The intern works under an engineer's guidance to carry out, collect data and analyse unusually complex experiments aimed at developing complicated physical vapour deposition (PVD) products.

Key responsibilities

• PVD process optimisation and measurement of metal film properties, organising data and reports for review
• Perform hardware characterisation on moderately difficult systems within safety guidelines
• With an engineer's guidance, help troubleshoot moderately complex problems, carry out root cause analysis and resolve moderately difficult process engineering issues

The internship is full time, with no travel and no relocation eligibility. It is open to interns and students.
