Join Applied Materials as a College Intern to support digital transformation initiatives within the sourcing and materials management function. You will work on data‑driven projects that optimise sourcing strategies, improve supply continuity and generate cost‑saving opportunities. This role offers hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Enhance the sourcing database and analytics capability.
• Increase dual/multi‑source coverage for critical materials.
• Improve supplier allocation strategy and supply resilience.
• Verify FAI compliance for new sourcing opportunities.
• Identify and execute material cost‑saving initiatives.

Required profile

• Undergraduate student pursuing Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or related disciplines.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Interest in supply chain operations and digital transformation.
• Basic knowledge of Python, Excel, Power BI, or other data‑analytics tools (advantageous).
• Self‑motivated, curious and eager to learn in a fast‑paced environment.
