Commercial Executive – Shipyard (Marine Engineering)

About the role

The Commercial Executive will act as the primary liaison between customers and the shipyard, ensuring project requirements are clearly understood and met. This role combines technical insight with sales expertise to drive successful project delivery in marine engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with customers on project requirements and technical scope.
• Conduct on‑site meetings with customers to discuss project details.
• Interpret and communicate technical aspects of shipyard projects.
• Prepare quotations, manage tender submissions, and follow up on bids.
• Compile and submit service reports for completed work.
• Source and procure spare parts needed for projects.

Required profile

• Experience and knowledge of vessel new construction, repair, or upgrading works.
• Valid driving licence.
• Competent use of Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to adapt to a shipyard working environment.
• ITE/Diploma in electrical or mechanical engineering or related field.
• Relevant work experience in a similar commercial or technical role.
