Commercial Manager – Emission Control Chemicals (East)

About the role

Wilhelmsen Ship Services is expanding its Emission Control Chemicals (ECC) business and seeks a Commercial Manager for the East region. You will lead a dedicated commercial pod, overseeing the full quote‑to‑cash cycle while driving revenue growth, margin optimization, and customer excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Emission Control Chemical Specialists.
• Manage the end‑to‑end quote‑to‑cash process with speed, accuracy, and commercial discipline.
• Review and support complex or high‑value customer enquiries.
• Drive revenue growth, margin optimization, and Value Conversion Rate (VCR) performance.
• Monitor KPIs such as hit rates, response times, pipeline quality, and commercial trends.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Supply Chain, and Sales to improve delivery performance and customer experience.
• Act as escalation point for pricing, supplier, and delivery challenges.
• Identify and implement process improvements, commercial initiatives, and operational efficiencies.
• Foster a team culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
