Commercial Manager – MEP Projects

About the role

The Commercial Manager will lead all commercial and financial aspects of mechanical and electrical (M&E) projects, ensuring optimal margins and minimizing contractual risk. This senior position works closely with project managers and construction managers to drive negotiations and contract administration.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full contract lifecycle, including tender reviews, negotiations, claims, and variations.
• Ensure compliance with BCA, MOM and other relevant authorities.
• Manage main contract and subcontract agreements.
• Oversee monthly progress claims, payment certifications and final account settlements.
• Monitor project budgets, cash flow and cost forecasts.
• Identify, assess and mitigate commercial risks across all projects.
• Support dispute resolution and adjudication under the SOP Act.

Required profile

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering or a related field.
• 10–15 years of commercial management experience in the M&E industry in Singapore.
• Strong knowledge of PSSCOC and SIA contract frameworks.
• Familiarity with ERP/Project Management systems such as ACC.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
