Communications & Engagement Manager

About the role

Join HDB’s Strategic Communications & Engagement Group as a Communications & Engagement Manager. You will work within the Engagement and Partnerships Department to design and execute communication and engagement strategies that help the public understand HDB’s policies and programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualise, plan and implement communication and engagement strategies that build public trust, secure stakeholder buy‑in and support smooth policy implementation.
• Develop a network of credible third‑party advocates to amplify HDB’s key messages across their own channels.
• Enhance communication and engagement capabilities across HDB staff, enabling them to promote the organisation’s brand and image effectively.
• Lead crisis‑communication preparation and ensure readiness to protect public trust and HDB’s reputation during emergencies.

Required profile

• Motivated communications professional with strong stakeholder‑engagement experience.
• Excellent command of English and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to tailor communication plans for diverse stakeholder groups.
• Critical thinker with keen interest in current and international affairs.
• Detail‑oriented, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and enjoys working with people.
