Communications Intern, Disney Cruise Line (Jan-Jun 2027)

About the role

Disney Cruise Line is looking for a Communications Intern for an office-based position in its Singapore office, running from January to June 2027. The intern gains exposure to the planning and execution of communication strategies and activities, supporting internal, executive, public affairs and public relations initiatives across Southeast Asia, India and Greater China. The role reports directly to the Manager, Communications based in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Daily media monitoring and research and reporting on media and tourism trends relevant to Disney Cruise Line
• Support communications materials such as press releases, talking points and speeches
• Analyse media coverage, evaluate metrics and present affinity reports such as sentiment and share of voice
• Support internal and executive engagement activities and media events
• Take part in brainstorming sessions and help develop new communication concepts
• Support the planning and implementation of ESR programs and executive speaking engagements
• Liaise with vendors for invoicing and payment

Required profile

• Undergraduate currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism or a related field
• Still an undergraduate and not yet graduated during the internship period
• Available for full-time, on-site work Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm, between January and June 2027
• Interest or knowledge of Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic brands

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Photoshop, video editing programs and Keynote
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Media monitoring tools are a plus
