Communications Manager – Asia Pacific

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Communications Manager to lead strategic Asia‑Pacific communications across internal and external audiences. The role will shape culturally nuanced messaging that supports the company’s purpose of powering economies and building a sustainable future.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated 360° go‑to‑market communications programmes for multiple business units, blending corporate communications, digital marketing and storytelling.
• Drive B2B storytelling through digital, social and visual‑first content, translating complex products and technologies into clear narratives for senior decision‑makers.
• Oversee creation of multimedia assets such as videos, animations, data visualisations, executive presentations and interactive content.
• Own regional social‑media and digital amplification strategies, partnering with marketing and global teams to optimise reach on LinkedIn and other priority platforms.
• Collaborate with global, regional and market stakeholders to ensure aligned, enterprise‑wide communications that reinforce corporate strategy and showcase performance and innovation.
• Manage agency and vendor relationships, ensuring high‑quality execution of press materials, campaigns and digital assets while maintaining brand standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in corporate or B2B communications, preferably within a large, multinational organisation.
• Strong ability to craft culturally resonant messages for diverse Asia‑Pacific audiences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of influencing senior leaders and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated project‑management capability, handling multiple programmes and agency partners simultaneously.
