Communications Specialist – Southeast Asia

About the role

The Corporate Communications Group at Lam Research is seeking a Communications Specialist to support the execution of its communications strategy across Southeast Asia. This fast‑paced role turns strategy into action, delivering high‑quality content, media relations, and internal communications that reinforce the Lam brand.

Key responsibilities

• Execute communications plans and day‑to‑day operations as directed by regional and global leads.
• Produce and coordinate internal communications such as newsletters, intranet updates, and employee events.
• Assist with community, volunteer, and ESG‑related communications.
• Support media relations by drafting press releases, managing media lists, coordinating interviews, and tracking coverage.
• Localize global communications materials for the SEA market.
• Develop content for press, internal announcements, social media, digital channels, and event assets.
• Maintain version control, document management, and logistics for industry events, sponsorships, and Lam‑hosted activities.
• Collaborate with agencies, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of communications deliverables.
• Perform ad‑hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in communications, public relations, or marketing communications.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proven capability to manage details, timelines, and multiple tasks accurately.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑changing, matrixed environment.
• Resilient work ethic, willingness to learn, and ability to adapt quickly.
