Compliance & AML Manager (Wholesale Banking)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Compliance & AML Manager to lead our wholesale banking compliance function in Singapore. The role will oversee AML/CFT policies, transaction monitoring, sanctions screening and provide advisory support to business units.

Key responsibilities

• Review, enhance and implement AML/CFT policies and procedures to meet regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Conduct transaction monitoring and sanctions screening alert reviews, including investigation, escalation and documentation.
• Monitor and manage compliance alerts, ensuring timely review and closure in line with internal policies.
• Provide compliance advisory support on AML, sanctions, KYC and financial crime matters to business stakeholders.
• Develop and deliver compliance‑related training and awareness programmes.
• Support responses to regulatory, audit and information requests with accurate and timely submissions.
• Review internal policies, procedures and controls for regulatory compliance.
• Prepare management reporting and compliance metrics.
• Execute compliance monitoring and assurance activities according to the annual compliance plan.
• Monitor regulatory developments and emerging financial‑crime risks and assess their impact on the business.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of compliance activities.
• Support compliance‑related projects and ad‑hoc initiatives.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in compliance, AML/CFT or financial‑crime compliance within the financial services sector.
• Strong knowledge of AML/CFT regulations, sanctions, KYC and financial‑crime risk management.
• Hands‑on experience in transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, investigations and advisory work.
• Excellent stakeholder‑management, communication and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
