Compliance Consultant (12-Month Contract) - Asset Management

About the role

A leading global investment platform supporting regulatory compliance across Singapore and the wider region is looking for an experienced compliance professional for a 12-month contract. The role offers broad exposure to licensing, regulatory reporting, governance, compliance monitoring and advisory work, working closely with business stakeholders and senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead regulatory compliance, licensing and reporting activities
• Support compliance advisory across Singapore and APAC
• Manage regulatory enquiries and ongoing engagement with regulators
• Support licensing applications, renewals and regulatory filings
• Prepare and submit periodic compliance and regulatory reports
• Maintain and enhance compliance frameworks, controls and monitoring processes
• Provide day-to-day compliance advisory support to business stakeholders
• Deliver compliance training and promote regulatory awareness
• Partner with regional and global teams on governance and regulatory obligations

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Finance, Accounting or a related discipline
• At least 8 years of compliance, legal, risk, audit or regulatory experience in financial services
• Experience supporting MAS regulatory requirements and licensing matters

Required skills

• Strong understanding of compliance frameworks, governance and regulatory reporting

The client is a globally recognised alternative investment manager with assets under management in private equity, real estate, credit, infrastructure and other strategies, operating across international markets. The role is advertised as a temporary contract with a stated pay of SG$10,000 to SG$12,000 per month.
