About the role
The Concierge joins the Guest Experience team at The Ritz‑Carlton Millenia Singapore, delivering personalized service that turns everyday interactions into memorable experiences. You will be the primary point of contact for guests, guiding them through every stage of their stay and ensuring seamless access to hotel amenities and local attractions.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all hotel facilities, restaurant concepts, room types, rates, promotions, and local events.
- Answer the department telephone promptly, using proper etiquette, and respond to guest inquiries within three rings.
- Process guest requests, reservations, and special arrangements while adhering to hotel policies and confidentiality standards.
- Coordinate with the Supervisor/Concierge on shift handovers, reviewing daily arrivals, VIP guests, and scheduled group activities.
- Operate the hotel’s computer system and radio equipment, ensuring security of keys and devices.
- Keep the workstation organized, restock supplies, and submit requisition forms for additional materials as needed.
- Provide accurate local information, vendor contacts, and recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
Required profile
- Full‑time availability with the ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods.
- Physical capability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
- Strong commitment to safety, confidentiality, and professional appearance.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, service‑oriented mindset.
Required skills
- Proficiency in using hotel property management and reservation systems.
- Effective telephone etiquette and guest interaction techniques.
- Ability to quickly learn and recall detailed information about hotel services and local attractions.
