Construction Contract Administrator

About the role

The Construction Contract Administrator will manage and administer contracts and sub‑contracts for fire‑protection projects. This role works closely with project managers, site teams and clients to ensure contractual compliance, cost control and timely resolution of commercial issues.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and administer main contracts and sub‑contracts for fire‑protection works.
• Support tendering and cost estimation, including quantity take‑off and Bill of Quantities preparation.
• Evaluate and process progress claims, variation orders and final accounts for clients and subcontractors.
• Maintain contract documentation, correspondence and filing in line with company procedures.
• Coordinate with project managers, site teams and clients to resolve contractual or commercial issues.
• Monitor project cost performance, prepare cost reports and assist in budget control.
• Prepare claims, extension of time submissions and support contract negotiations when required.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, statutory requirements and company policies.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in construction contracts administration, preferably in fire‑protection, M&E or ACMV works.
• Familiarity with standard forms of contracts such as PSSCOC, SIA or FIDIC.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quantity‑surveying software (e.g., CostX, Cubicost).
• Strong analytical, communication and negotiation abilities.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
