Construction Manager – Large‑Scale LTA Infrastructure Projects

About the role

We are partnering with a leading A1 main contractor to recruit an experienced Construction Manager to oversee large‑scale LTA and infrastructure projects such as MRT lines, rail depots, and major civil works. The role involves directing site operations, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day site activities to meet schedule, budget, and specification targets.
• Supervise subcontractors, vendors, and on‑site teams for smooth execution.
• Monitor progress, quality, productivity and ensure compliance with drawings, codes, and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Plan and manage logistics of materials, manpower, and equipment to optimise resources.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders, providing progress updates and resolving technical issues.
• Enforce workplace health and safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and submit site reports, progress updates, and documentation for project tracking.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Proven experience managing construction projects within a main‑contractor environment.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials and local building regulations.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Experience in project planning, scheduling and resource management.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management abilities.
