Construction Manager – Team Leader for SGP Tuas Project

About the role

The Construction Manager will lead the construction team for the Tuas project in Singapore, overseeing all phases from initiation to close‑out. This senior role ensures the project is delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall construction plan, including site layout, access roads, utilities, and temporary facilities.
• Lead the construction team, build workflows, monitor daily activities, and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with engineering, HSE, procurement, QA/QC, and interface teams to create and implement project plans.
• Conduct constructability reviews, risk assessments, and schedule control, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and third‑party authorities, ensuring compliance with permits and regulations.
• Oversee quality assurance processes, RFI/RFA handling, shop‑drawing reviews, material approvals, and change‑order management.
• Lead acceptance, hand‑over, punch‑list resolution, and support commissioning and qualification activities.
• Coordinate final cost settlement and commercial dispute negotiations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical or related engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
• Extensive experience in construction management, preferably on large‑scale industrial or infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and complex site operations.
