Construction Project Manager

About the role

The Construction Project Manager will lead the full construction lifecycle for cleanroom system projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and safety compliance. This permanent position is based in Ang Mo Kio, Singapore, with regular office hours and occasional Saturday work.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the overall construction phase, including site planning, coordination, execution, monitoring, and project closure.
• Support preparation of construction contractual documents, tender documents, approvals, and submission requirements.
• Identify project construction requirements based on size, scope, timeline, resources, and site conditions.
• Monitor construction progress, review reports, and ensure alignment with contractual time, cost, and quality targets.
• Coordinate project meetings, verify action items, follow up on outstanding matters, and resolve site issues promptly.
• Oversee quality assurance and control to meet specifications and stakeholder expectations.
• Conduct regular site inspections for regulatory compliance, construction procedures, and company standards.
• Manage subcontractor activities, site performance, productivity, budgets, cost control, and financial reporting.
• Drive workplace safety, health, and sustainability practices in line with WSH policies and green building guidelines.
• Handle project completion, defect rectification, testing, commissioning, handover documentation, risk controls, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of construction site management experience in Singapore.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, site operations, quality control, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven leadership skills managing site teams, subcontractors, workers, and project stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities for reports, documentation, meetings, and coordination.
