Consulting Director - Cyber Defense

About the role

PwC is looking for a cybersecurity leader to shape and drive its regional growth in Southeast Asia. The Consulting Director leads the Cyber Defense practice, combining technical expertise, commercial acumen and leadership to help clients solve complex security challenges and grow the practice.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the Cyber Defense consulting practice across Southeast Asia, developing solutions to protect clients against evolving cyber threats.
• Maintain and lead strategic alliances with technology partners such as Microsoft, Google, Palo Alto Networks and others, and drive joint solution delivery.
• Lead revenue growth for the practice, with a focus on expanding Managed Security Services.
• Develop go-to-market strategies and sales enablement plans, and collaborate across GTM practices to build proposals and close deals.
• Lead large-scale cyber transformation programs for enterprise clients, aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Influence senior stakeholders, including C-suite engagement, and act as a trusted advisor on cyber defense strategy.
• Manage and mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals.
• Stay ahead of cyber security trends and demonstrate thought leadership.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with significant exposure to cyber defense and transformation programs.
• Extensive experience in cyber defense, threat intelligence and incident response.
• Proven ability to maintain vendor alliances and to drive revenue growth.
• Experience in Managed Security Services for business development and delivery.
• Ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships at senior and executive levels.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, GIAC) preferred.
• Willingness to obtain government clearance and work visa sponsorship available.

Required skills

• Cyber defense, cybersecurity and digital transformation strategy.
• Knowledge of Microsoft and/or Google Cloud Platform security tools and Palo Alto products, and their integration.
